Learn MoreWhen I founded The Lanby, it was with a simple belief: healthcare should be proactive, personalized, and connected.
As a young breast cancer survivor, I experienced firsthand how fragmented the healthcare system can be. I wanted to build a primary care model where medicine, wellness, and prevention worked together—not in silos—and where patients have a trusted team helping them navigate every stage of their health.
Today, as a mom of three, I've found myself advocating for better healthcare all over again.
I've said "not yet" to antibiotics for a no-fever ear infection. I've pushed for a root-cause approach to eczema, only to be told my child would "grow out of it." I've searched endlessly for answers about nutrition, sleep, immunity, and development, often finding conflicting advice and no one connecting the dots.
It became clear that children deserve the same standard of care The Lanby offers adults: thoughtful, relationship-based medicine that looks at the whole person—not just the symptom.
That's why we launched Pediatrics at The Lanby.
Why Pediatric Care Needed a New Approach
Parents today are navigating an overwhelming healthcare landscape.
Between pediatricians, specialists, wellness practitioners, social media, podcasts, and online advice, it's never been easier to find information and never been harder to know who to trust.
Medical care often lives separately from nutrition guidance. Developmental concerns are discussed in one office, sleep in another, and gut health somewhere else. Families are left coordinating appointments, managing records, and piecing together recommendations on their own.
The result is reactive care instead of proactive care.
We believe families deserve something better.
Pediatrics, The Lanby Way
At The Lanby, we built our pediatric program with the same philosophy that defines our adult membership: comprehensive primary care that combines evidence-based medicine with prevention, lifestyle medicine, and long-term partnership.
Led by Dr. Nelli Gluzman, double board-certified in Pediatrics and Lifestyle Medicine, our pediatric program supports children ages 3 and older through every stage of growth and development.
Rather than focusing only on today's symptoms, we look at the bigger picture.
We care for preventive health, annual wellness visits, acute illnesses, nutrition, immune health, sleep, development, behavioral wellness, and long-term health optimization—all within one connected Care Team.
We Treat the Reason, Not Just the Symptom
Traditional pediatric visits are often built for speed: identify the problem, prescribe treatment, move on.
That works well for many routine illnesses.
But it doesn't always help the child whose eczema keeps returning, whose digestive issues never fully resolve, whose sleep affects the entire household, or whose frequent illnesses leave parents searching for answers.
Our philosophy is different.
We take the time to understand the full picture—from feeding history and nutrition to sleep habits, environmental exposures, inflammation, immune health, and family history.
When appropriate, we use thoughtful testing to better understand what's driving symptoms, allowing us to create personalized care plans designed for lasting improvements—not simply temporary relief.
When conventional medicine is the right answer, we use it confidently. The difference is that we don't stop there.
One Team. One Plan. One Connected Family Experience.
One of the biggest challenges parents face is coordinating care across multiple providers.
At The Lanby, pediatrics isn't separate from the rest of your healthcare, it lives within it.
Our physicians, registered dietitians, Member Advocates, and Care Team work together under one philosophy and one shared care plan.
Your child's pediatrician understands the broader health of your family. Your nutrition guidance aligns with your medical care. Specialist referrals, imaging, and follow-up are coordinated for you.
Instead of managing healthcare alone, families have one trusted team supporting every step.
Whole-Child Care, Backed by Experts
Our pediatric members receive care from clinicians who understand both conventional medicine and the role that lifestyle plays in lifelong health.
Our care includes support for:
- Preventive pediatric care and annual wellness visits
- Acute illnesses and sick visits
- Nutrition and picky eating
- Sleep and behavioral wellness
- Digestive and microbiome health
- Immune health
- Eczema and skin concerns
- Asthma support
- Growth and developmental milestones
Around our physicians is a broader team, including registered dietitians and Member Advocates, who help families navigate everyday questions as well as more complex health concerns.
A Better Healthcare Experience for the Whole Family
Launching Pediatrics at The Lanby felt like the natural next chapter for our practice.
Families shouldn't have to choose between compassionate care and clinical excellence, between conventional medicine and preventive health, or between treating illness and building lifelong wellness.
Our goal is simple: to give children the same personalized, integrated, and proactive care we've always believed every patient deserves.
As both a founder and a mom, I know the peace of mind that comes from having a trusted healthcare partner. I'm incredibly proud that families can now experience that level of care together—from parents to children—with one connected team.
Because when healthcare works together, families thrive together.
Warmly,
Chloe Harrouche
