Perimenopause affects each woman differently, requiring a tailored approach. Our Membership offers continuous, personalized support to address the root-cause of symptoms, restore balance, and sustain your long-term health.

Reserve your membership to start onboarding. You'll get an email to schedule your onboarding call, book your baseline visit, and complete your intake form.

In an 80-minute visit, you’ll get to know your Care Team. We’ll dive deep into your medical and personal history, wellness goals, and lifestyle. We’ll also conduct a physical exam, test 5x the number of biomarkers included in a routine visit, and analyze your body composition (muscle to fat ratio) if desired.

In a 45-minute follow-up, your Care Team will share your lab results and provide targeted recommendations for the next quarter. Your Care Plan will incorporate nutrition, supplements, natural remedies, hormonal and non-hormonal medications, sleep hygiene, fitness, preventive screenings, and specialists.

FAQ
What is Perimenopause?
Perimenopause is the transitional period before menopause when hormonal changes begin, eventually leading to the cessation of menstruation. Typically starting in a woman’s early 40s, about 8-10 years before menopause, symptoms of perimenopause can vary widely. During this time, hormones including estrogen, progesterone, follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), and testosterone begin to fluctuate. These changes lead to a range of symptoms that may include irregular periods, hot flashes and night sweats, mood swings, libido changes, and weight gain.
What does an integrative approach to perimenopause look like?
Unlike conventional medicine, which treats the body in isolated parts, integrative medicine sees it as an interconnected whole. We treat the root cause of your symptoms with an individualized approach, combining tailored nutrition plans, supplementation, and prescription pharmaceuticals as needed. Our Membership also satisfies your primary care needs, which include managing preventive screenings, acute issues, and specialty referrals.
Is The Lanby a full replacement for primary care?
Yes! The Lanby will take care of all of your primary care needs using an Integrative and Functional Medicine approach. This includes root-cause medicine, chronic condition management, prescriptions, physical exams, expanded lab panels, genetic testing, preventive screenings, lifestyle guidance (and more).
How does The Lanby work with insurance?
Our membership fee is not covered by insurance, but includes all visits, in-app chat, acute care, and coordination with specialists. You will never receive a copay or surprise bill for any care received at The Lanby.
We have chosen to operate outside of insurance to avoid the misaligned incentives imposed by payers. The traditional fee for service model reimburses physicians based on the number of visits or procedures they perform, not the quality of their care - more volume, more revenue. This is why traditional primary care is limited to 8-minute visits—barely enough time to address immediate issues, let alone proactive care. Insurance also does not support a team-based approach, patient advocacy, or care coordination, all of which are vital to our ability to deliver comprehensive care.
With that said, we help our members maximize the value of their existing insurance coverage by referring them to specialists who take their insurance, running their labs through an in-network lab, and coordinating preventive screenings covered by their insurance.
Do you have family rates?
The Lanby offers a family rate for family members that join together (we currently do not offer pediatric care). When one family member signs up for membership, please let your Member Advocate know and the family rate of $1,350/quarter will be applied to the additional members.
How does The Lanby help with specialist referrals?
A big part of getting well is navigating the healthcare system. To alleviate the frustration and hassle of finding great specialists, we’ve curated a robust referral network. This allows us to match our members based on their individual needs, insurance coverage, and location. Our dedicated Member Advocate is here to secure expedited appointments and coordinate post-visit communication to ensure collaboration every step of the way.
Specialists we refer to include, but are not limited to:
- Physical Therapists
- Dermatologists
- Gastroenterologists
- Urologists
- Obstetricians
- Gynecologists
- Psychiatrists
- Life Coaches
- Acupuncturists
- Personal Trainers
- Mold Specialists
- Doulas
- Insomnia Specialists
For more information or to join our referral network, book a consult call. We look forward to learning more about you.
Can I be a member if I don’t live in New York?
Yes! We are currently accepting members from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Florida, and California. The baseline visit must be conducted in person, but most other services can be rendered virtually. Our Just The Labs offering is available nationwide.
