Tell us about yourself and why you joined The Lanby. What were you looking for or trying to solve?
I work as a child psychologist and am passionate about helping others feel their best. I wanted to ensure I was also practicing what I preached! About a year or so before joining the Lanby, I became curious about lifestyle strategies to optimize my health, but there was so much information to digest. I joined The Lanby because I was interested to better understand the connection between my physical and mental health, and wanted to ensure I was being safe and intentional with my actions.
Describe your experience as a member. What has been your favorite part or the most valuable benefit?
Being able to receive a combination of conventional plus holistic medical care from professionals who I trust are the biggest benefit. When seeking any kind of medical care, being heard and having my concerns validated is a priority, and I feel grateful that The Lanby provides that for me. I also love that the care team is available to help troubleshoot any issues and goes out of their way to check in on me. Whether we communicate through text, email, phone, video or in person, I always know I’m in good hands.
What has your Care Team provided that you weren’t able to get anywhere else?
I love having a doctor and dietician that work so well together to provide such personalized care. They are able to solve multiple concerns under one roof. I value the accessibility and responsiveness of the team. In addition, having a concierge manager makes it easy to address concerns quickly, rather than wait several days to hear from a doctor. One of my favorite examples of how the team comes together is through recap emails, that consists of a brief post-appointment summary. To top it off, the friendly demeanor and efficiency of the team can’t be beat.
What has been your greatest victory since joining The Lanby?
On a large scale, feeling like I have the tools to understand how to best support my body and mind, and knowing I have the support of a team to help me along the way. On a smaller scale, drinking more water and learning how to balance my plate!
